The National Montford Marine Association, Inc. Atlanta Chapter 5 is hosting its second annual golf tournament fundraiser. The Montford Point Marines is a nonprofit Veteran's organization established to perpetuate the legacy of the first African Americans who entered the United States Marine Corps between August 1942 and September 1949, at Montford Point Camp, New River, North Carolina. Our fundraising objective is to support educational assistance programs via our Chapter Scholarship, improve our community through programs such as Veteran cemetery clean-up projects, youth programs such as Young Marines Program and adopt a school program, various speaking engagements aimed at educating the public on the service and sacrifice of the Original Montford Point Marines and their contributions to this Nation.
