The Chapter is involved in a variety of community engagements activities including our annual golf tournament and Veteran cemetery cleanup projects. Some of our activities have been impacted by the global pandemic, and we are looking for creative ways to safely be involved in our community. Please check our event calendar to see upcoming events.

Education is key to preserving the legacy. The Chapter continues to seek out audiences where we can tell the story of the service and sacrifice of the Montford Point Marines. We also look to assist high school graduates in their education efforts by providing an annual scholarships from those selected from submitted applications. 

The Montford Point Marines trailblazing service helped to shape the military as we know it today. These Marines were awarded the Congressional Gold Medal in 2012. 

Today a Memorial and Museum have been established to preserve their Marine Corps legacy.
