Atlanta Chapter 5 of the Montford Point Marine Association is proud to host the "Working Together Works" Youth Team Building Camp. Our camp is designed to foster team-building skills, leadership qualities, and self-awareness among youth. The camp's ethos is inspired by the Montford Point Marines, who exemplified teamwork and resilience during a challenging era in American history. Their motto, "Working Together Works," is a testament to the power of unity and collective effort, lessons we aim to pass on to the youth in our program. The camp features group activities, guest speakers promoting teamwork, and field trips to successful organizations in metro Atlanta. Participants will gain invaluable insights into teamwork, leadership, and the importance of diversity and inclusion. These lessons are not only crucial for personal development but also prepare them for future academic and professional environments where teamwork is key.
