"Working Together Works"

The Montford Point Marines hold a unique and significant place in American history. They were the first African Americans to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps, breaking racial barriers and setting a precedent for integration in the military. Their story is one of resilience, unity, and above all, teamwork. Despite facing segregation and doubt, they relied on each other and worked together to achieve remarkable success. Their motto, “working together works,” is a testament to their powerful legacy.

Our Youth Team Building Camp, inspired by their story, aims to educate young individuals about vital aspects of American history and equip them with essential life skills. A core component of the camp is to teach the importance of being an effective team member – a skill crucial in various aspects of life, from sports to academics and professional settings. The camp includes self-awareness classes and activities designed to enhance teamwork abilities.
